Winter Snapshot! - Wendy Meffan

Hi Everyone! It's Wendy here and I'm sharing my second December layout using the January Fox Box. I was super organised and had my December layouts ready and then the snow came and I couldn't resist scrapping some of the gorgeous photos I took! So I created a new layout using the Snapshot perspextive and also the Paper Snips #017! I used Hip Kit Club December 2021 kit.

In my photo although its not totally clear there is the most gorgeous pink house and it was so picturesque I had to photograph it knowing I would scrap it very soon! The Snapshot perspextive was absolutely perfect to document this.

I placed the photo onto the page and positioned the Snapshot perspextive and then started to build around it. In the Hip Kit kit I found the chipboard pink house which again was another perfect embellishment.

I then added pieces of the floral ephemera around the photograph choosing the paler more wintery colours. Then to have some different texture on the layout I added the puffy shape branches and the Winter puffy word.

From the Paper Snips #017 I fussy cut the Memorable tab and distressed the edges and then added it to the top of the photo.

At this point I also decided I would like to have a border on the layout so trimmed the white card and gutted a piece of patterned paper and adhered the white card to the border.

Finally I made a cluster in the top right corner using the puffy stickers and some more of the ephemera and a winter tag. I tied a snowflake charm to the tag.

I painted Nuvo glimmer paste over several of the leaves to give a glistening effect on the layout. This cant be seen that clearly unfortunately on the layout image .

I love how this layout has turned out and hope this has inspired you to use the Snapshot perspextive for any photo you might choose .
