Winter Love | Terri Morris
Hello February, traditionally the month of all things romance and love. With Lockdown no.3 still in place here in the UK I'm embracing all the things that make me warm and fuzzy!
As soon as I saw this patterned paper from Hip Kit Club I knew that I wanted to create a shaker snow globe. To see exactly how I did it check out my process video over on YouTube.
To create the shaker element I stitched a circle of vellum the same size as the white circle design on the patterned paper leaving a gap at the bottom to add the sequins. I then cut pink paper and grey card to create the base of the snow globe, stitching this to the page then seals the shaker pocket.
I love using petite perspextives like these hearts as small finishing touches to my pages and Morag has some beautiful ones in the shop. These paired with the chipboard snowflakes complement the 'winter love' theme of my layout.
The frosted 'Winter' perspextive adds a beautiful subtle aspect to the layout along with the bold 'love' from the February Fox Box.
