What to Choose! - Game Night Scrapbook Layout - Wendy Meffan

The February latest products from Bramblefox include a super Game Pieces selection of perspextives along with a Game Night Title perspextive. These are just perfect for documenting family Games Nights. I have chosen to document our games cupboard and the choice we have of games to play. I have used a combination of Hip Kit Club Kits to create the layout.

I have used Stencil #113 with Salty Ocean distress oxide to create a the background. I felt this colour helped pick out some of the blue games boxes in the cupboard! I then used a selection of different papers from a combination of Hip Kit Club kits and tore strips from each and added them both top and bottom of the layout. I matted my photo and placed it centrally and started to build up the layout around it.

I added a vertical paper strip behind the photo and tucked two tags under the photo. Over these I placed the Game Night title perspextive, I added a little monopoly car perspextive as well. To the right of the photo I layered several pieces of ephemera and then added various of the Game Pieces perspextives. I tucked in the Monopoly dog, a few game counters and some Chess pieces along with a $ perspextive.

To the left of the photo I added another selection of layered ephemera and used a few more of the game perspextives.

To balance the layout I created a small cluster at the top right and added a couple of Monopoly houses. I wanted to highlight all the different game pieces available in the Game Pieces set!

I used a couple of tabs over the top of the photo and then added the Monopoly top hat and a Chess piece perspextive to add further embellishment.
