Vitamin Sea | Debbi Tehrani

Hey, Bramble Fox lovers! Today I'm sharing a beachy layout using the August Fox Box Plus, along with a bunch of other Bramble Fox products available in the shop.

Please note that since I scrap 8 x 8, products look a bit larger on my layouts.

I always love Bramble Fox's translucent Perspextives, and when I got the August Fox Box, I was delighted to see so many of them! I knew right away I wanted to use the beautiful Vitamin Sea title. I chose the Sea La Vie collection by P13.

I started my layout by adding a sunburst using the Fox Cut Stencil #17 and two different colors of Tim Holtz Distress Ink to create a blue that matched the papers I was using. I matted the photos in navy blue and then added a layer of light blue vellum so that the pretty elements would show through. I got most of the embellishments you see on my page from the Fussy Cut P13 paper. And of course I had to use a bird from the Flock of Seagulls pack. I went to my stash of heart Perpextives to find some translucent blue hearts to match the title (because, you know, I always add hearts to the pages I give away).

I used the Torn Edge Border Template to get a perfect tear on the striped paper and then inked the torn edge with navy stamp ink. How cool is the etched wood sign that's in the August Fox Box? The "summer memories" word strip, from the Paper Snips #033 in the Fox Box Plus, was a perfect color to match the palette of my page. I was happy to use a really old brad from my stash for the center of my ship's wheel.

I used the stencil that came in the August Fox Box Plus to add some words to my background. Speaking of my background, I covered up my photos and then splattered navy ink to give my page the feel of some ocean splashes.

I used Fox Cut Stencil #35 to add some waves beneath the life preserver and title, and I added another phrase from another Paper Snips #030, the one that came with the July Fox Box Plus. Finally, I added clear Nuvo Drops to give the impression of water droplets on the page.
