Totally Unique Birthday Layout- Wendy Meffan
For this layout I have used Unique and one of the small blue people perspextives, along with the large black Clippie perspextive. I have added an older camera and a combination of word phrases and ephemera from Paper Snips #049 and #052.
My Husband just turned 60 and we had a fabulous party and managed to surprise him with a funny personalised T Shirt. I wanted to document it as it also happened also at our Wedding 30 years ago! I love this picture of him totally surprised. I noticed the photo had a shock of bright yellow in it which didn't go well with many papers so I decided to use the A4 starburst Fox Cut Stencil with yellow distress oxide inks for the background. This worked well to bring in the bright yellow in the photo. I then added gesso and stamping over the top, this toned the yellow down slightly and the stamping drew in the black from the perspextives.
I used a die cut frame around the photo and and mounted it over a couple of acetate film strip frames. I added the black Clippie perspextive from the March Fox Box at the top of the photo, following this I fussy cut some of the word phrases and tabs from Paper Snips #049 and #052 . I then added a blue arrow perspextive and the little blue person perspextive from the Fox Box.
The Unique perspextive sat perfectly to the lower left of the photo with some Paper Snips word phrases over the top, along with another small black arrow perspextive.
To the lower right of the photo I added a few more word phrases and an older camera perspextive. I used Arrows from the Arrows Galore Collection to co-ordinate with the colours in the layout. I also fussy cut the Today and Take Note banner tabs from the Paper Snips #049 which sat so well just to the right of the photo. I added twine through them.
I love how this layout turned out and hope you will find some inspiration from it. Do take a look at all the latest products over at www.bramblefox.co.uk
Till next time.. Happy Scrapping!
