Time to Gather Scrapbook layout - Wendy Meffan

The Time to Gather perspextive from the October Fox Box gives so much choice for how to use it. I've not gone down the Autumnal route with it but have used it to document my family all getting together over the August Bank Holiday. We all go camping together and it is basically the one holiday in the year when we are all together.

I have used the August 2024 Hip Kit collection which had the perfect colours to match the photos. I chose to use multiple photos across the page and liked the idea of a banner effect under neath them. Padstow has lots of flags and banners always blowing around so I thought they were the perfect element to add.

Firstly I trimmed the white card stock and gutted a 12x12 patterned paper to create a border. I then machine stitched around the edge of the layout.

I used the Bramblefox Acrylic banner templates which helped me to get them all even! I stitched around their edges to add a bit more texture and dimension to the layout.

I created a cluster at the top right of the photos and added my title perspextive over it. The mink colour of the perspextive was a perfect match to one of the jackets in the photos! I added embellishments from the Hip Kit collection.
