Time Flies!
Hi Foxy Friends, Happy New Year! It's Wendy here and Im sharing my first blog post of 2021 using the 'Time Flies ' perspextive and some mini star perspextives. I decided that I would use an old fashioned alarm clock to go with my theme and found a great cutfile in the silhouette store. I machined stitched around it to define its edge and them used a darker background to make it stand out.
I wanted to put the main perspextive in the centre of the clock so it would be the focal point of the Layout. I had chosen two pictures to use which worked well to go either side of the main perspextive and also showed the passage of time.
I matted the photos and distressed the edges of the layering. I then cut some stars from patterned paper in different sizes and added them around the photos. I decide to use the mini clock perpsextive in the number 6 position n a clock face and add small star perspextives as the rest of the numbers.
I then had the idea to put the year numbers in the bells for the alarms from 1995 to 2020. I used small mini thickers for the date. I then added a bit of journalling in the base of the clock .
I really enjoyed making this layout, it took a bit of time to come together but evolved as I went along. I hope you will feel inspired to create something a little unusual using your perspextives. Be sure to place them in the Bramble fox facebook page.
Keep safe and happy scrapping till next time.....
