This Girl's Got Class | Debbi Tehrani
Hey, Bramble Fox Friends! I'm very excited to share a layout I created with the brand-new Back to School Perspextives. These stunning chalkboard pieces have beautiful etched detailing, and they were just perfect for scrapbooking my friend's beautiful daughter's first day snapshots.
Please note that I scrap 8 x 8, so the products always look a bit larger on my layouts.
I was originally thinking of using school-themed elements, but I came across the beautiful Again and Again collection from Pink Paislee from two years ago, and the colors looked so pretty with the photos and provided a lovely contrast to the black Perspextives.
I only had a 6 x 6 pad of the Again and Again collection, so I chose an old BasicGrey paper for my background. I matted the photo strips and the papers with black cardstock to draw additional attention to the beautiful Back to School pieces.
Even though there was lots of text through the Perspextives, I always feel like my page is incomplete without a title, so I combined some letter stickers to make a long title in the empty space on my layout. I always add a heart to the layouts I give away, and I found a gold heart in my stash to add to the owl I fussy-cut from one of the papers.
Some doilies added another layer, and I added some gold embellishments to coordinate with the gold in the Thickers I used for my title.
These gorgeous blackboard Perspextives add wonderful drama to a layout. If you take a look in the shop, you'll find some other blackboard-style pieces, with a coffee theme.
I hope I've given you some ideas for using these beautiful pieces. We'd love to see what you make with them. Please tag Bramble Fox on Instagram and also share your creations in the Bramble Fox Friends Facebook group.
Until next month...
