The Story! - Wendy Meffan

Hi Everyone! It's Wendy here and I'm sharing my first layout for June using 'The Story' title perspextive and Mini Star Tab perspextives from the June Fox Box. I also used the Word phrase blocks from the June Fox Box and some little blue Arrow perspextives from the May new products.

I started off with a mixed media background using distress oxides. I matted the photo and then added a couple of paper strips perpendicular to each other. I started to build up the layout from this point. I tore another piece of patterned paper and tucked it under the vertical strip. I used a floral paper and fussy cut two large floral clusters which I placed either side of the photo. From this point I built up a collection of die cut flowers and stems to create a large floral cluster either side of the photo.

I added the 'The Story' perspextive over the left cluster.

To the top of the photo I added a paper tag and the Star tab perspextive and the 'Yay' perspextive from my stash with some more floral die cut embellishment around them.

Having tucked a few punched tags behind the right floral cluster I then attached the 'Beautiful day' word phrase perspextive over the top of the photo.

To the bottom right of the photo I added another Word phrase perspextive from the June Fox Box and placed three Arrow perspextives above it .

Finally I stamped a few black leaves around the layout to compliment the black perspextives and used gesso to add some splatters across the layout .
