Bright and summery beach scrapbook layout | Debbi Tehrani
Bright and summery beach layout featuring the gorgeous August Fox Box and the Lighthouse Cut File, as well as a bunch of other Bramble Fox goodies available in the shop.
I just love the gorgeous translucent Perspextives in the August Fox Box, and I decided to design my layout around the pink and yellow pieces. I wanted to use the beautiful Lighthouse Cut File, and although pink and yellow aren't your typical nautical colors, I picked out some papers in pink and yellow. One of the things I love about cut files is that you can use really old paper scraps and make them look current and trendy. I've had those papers in my stash for at least a decade. I used my Sunburst Fox Cut Stencil #17 to make light rays shine from the Lighthouse.
How beautiful is that translucent yellow title Perspextive? I paired it with some Wordfetti from the August Fox Box. Love that magenta color! It looks beautiful with the yellow. The labels and some of the phrase strips are from Paper Snips 033, Paper Snips 030, and Paper Snips 001.
I layered up my photo with some paper scraps from my stash, a frame that I fussy cut, some tabs I made out of ribbon and a tag that I adorned with a whale fin charm. And of course I had to add some seagulls from the Flock of Seagulls to my beach page!
I added another seagull at the top, along with some Puffy Fabric Clouds that I layered over blue clouds I fussy cut from an old Bella Blvd. patterned paper.
I used the Scallop Background Fox Cut Stencil #68 to make some waves behind my photo and the lighthouse. At the bottom, I used a text print to serve as a rocky coast for the lighthouse to sit on. I added some blue ric-rac along the edge to mimic wavy water, and then I scattered some of the beautiful seashells and starfish from the August Fox Box. Just look at the gorgeous etching!
Of course I had to add a heart because I'm giving this page away, and I found a pink translucent heart from the Warm Hearts pack to match the pink shells. I glued it to one of the Labels I had cut from Paper Snips 030 that I had stapled to the Puffy Fabric Cloud with my Tiny Attacher. My last addition after leaving my layout overnight before calling it done was to add some small torn bits of the text paper I had used at the bottom to my cloud clusters, just to bring that same pattern elsewhere.
The August Fox Box is so summery and full of gorgeous bits and pieces! I can't wait to see what you make with it!
