Summertime | Julie Taylor

Don't you just love doing summer layouts!! The colours & icons just make you smile & take you back to that moment.

The July Fox Box definatly has summer covered with all manner of titles & icons perfect to record those memories.

I started this page by adding some distress oxide acrylic paint, to the background, with a brayer & then splattering on some diluted distress oxide ink. This gave me a base for 4 horizontal strips. I added some hand sewn threads, to the top 3, & added my embellishments on top.

The 'Summer" glasses, out the Summer Sunnies pack, was perfect with my die cut sunglasses.

I added my photo at the bottom with a large cluster to the right hand side & used the Summer Time perspextive as my title & added that cute wooden sandcastle both out the July Fox Box.
