Summertime Beach Scrapbook Layout | Debbi Tehrani

Summer and beach photos are so much fun to scrapbook, and the July Fox Box makes scrapping these fun memories even better! I used the cheerful yellow "summertime" title Perspextive and several other bits and pieces from the July Fox Box Plus, along with a bunch of other awesome Bramble Fox products to create this beachy layout. Please note that since I scrap 8 x 8, the products look a little larger on my pages.

I used Carta Bella's Beach Party collection, which has a bold, colorful, fun vibe I was going for and complemented the pieces I used from the Fox Box. I love the thought Bramble Fox puts into their titles. The happy sunny color, the playful font, and the addition of the sun in the stacked title are so perfect! As you can see, I started my layout by creating a background using two stencils, the Sunburst Fox Cut Stencil #18 and Scallop Background Fox Cut Stencil #68, to mimic ocean waves.

After creating the background, I added a wide strip of wavy-looking patterned paper to the left side and edged it with a navy border using Film Strip Borders Fox Dies #20. I created some layers behind my photo with a stamped frame, a filmstrip (Fox Dies #14), and a clipboard clip (Office Elements Fox Dies #22). The "happy life" tab is from the Paper Snips from the Fox Box Plus. I used the Paper Snips Labels Fox Dies #16 to get a perfect cut on the tabs and circles from the Paper Snips.

I fussy-cut some surfboards from one of the Beach Party papers to create an embellishment cluster and added the cute little hermit crab. I tore some kraft paper and used a dotty stamp to create the look of sand so I could ground my embellishments. The circular element is from the Paper Snips. I added Epoxy Stickers to my circles to add some shine and make the snips into flair.

I created another little sandy scene in the lower right corner, adding another flair I made with the Paper Snips and Epoxy Stickers and the sweet sandcastle Woodie that came in the Fox Box. Looking at that crab now, I think I need to add some wiggle eyes to him before I give this page to my friend!

Finally, I needed a spot for a third Paper Snip Flair, and I used a View Master Reel from Fox Dies #17 to hold it. I adhered the fun speech bubble (also from the Fox Box Plus Paper Snips) with foam adhesive.
