So Happy Scrapbook Layout - Wendy Meffan

The So Happy perspextive from the February products is such a versatile title and will go on almost any layout. I have chosen to use it on a holiday layout as we have just been to the Maldives which has been on my bucket list. and certainly lived up to it's expectations! The colour was also perfect for the colour of the sea! I have also used the gorgeous Layered Butterfly Stencil #112 along with the Paper Snips #071 which form the Fox Box Plus for March.

Initially I trimmed my cardstock and then gutted a pink piece of 12x12 paper creating a narrow border around the edge of the layout. Then I cut three strips of paper from a Hip Kit which coordinated with the colour of the photos. I distressed their edges and placed them vertically on the white cardstock. I then placed my photos centrally on each one. I fussy cut several of the element on the paper Snips #071 ready to use. I positioned the So Happy perspextive above the photos to the left as the main title of the layout. I tucked in two of the fussy cut butterflies and also a date tag from the Paper Snips.

I then stencilled using the largest butterfly on the stencil and mixed the colour over each half so it would remain tone on tone on my layout.

I stencilled more butterflies again using the largest butterfly onto white cardstock, which I then fussy cut. Continuing with my tone on tone effect, I added the butterflies across the layout along with the Paper Snips floral elements. I also created some epoxy flair which I added to the clusters.

Finally I added some mini gold thickers and another small cluster using a perspextive heart, a documented paper Snip tab and a stencilled butterfly.

I really love the pastel colours of this layout and how delicately it has turned out. I think the Butterfly stencil is becoming one of my Top 5. It is just so beautiful .
