Snowy Winter Layout | Debbi Tehrani

Scrapbooking snowy winter photos is a delight, and Bramble Fox has loads of winter embellishments in the shop. Stuck for ideas for your next page? Bramble Fox has you covered with the Little Book of Scrapbook Ideas Volume 2, which is chock full of scrapbook sketches and gorgeous inspiration from the design team. I used Scrapbook Sketch 3 from this invaluable little book to create this cheerful wintry layout.

Please note that I scrap 8 x 8, so the products look a bit larger on my layouts.

Here's a look at the sketch I used.

The gorgeous teal title Perspextive I used from the Snow One Like You pack, which contains two perfect winter titles, pairs well with Simple Stories' Feelin' Frosty collection, and was perfect with the pinks in these darling photos I captured from a video my friend posted of her granddaughter eating snow and saying over and over again, "Wanna Taste It?" which served as the big title on the left from the sketch.

I love how so many of the Perspextive titles can be used alone or paired with other alphabet stickers to customize my scrapbook page titles. Those BasicGrey pink letters are from many years ago, and pairing them with the Perspxtive gives these old alphabet stickers an updated feel.

That super cool clip Perspextive is from the Right Now pack, and you're going to want to go to the shop right now and grab this set, which includes eight titles, arrows, and tabs that are wonderfully versatile and come in the beautiful teal and black. I added some pink twine and a silver snowflake charm for extra detail.

I looped the twine through a hole I punched in the mitten die cuts. You can see I created a snowy background on my white cardstock by brushing two shades of pink Distress ink through the Snow Scene Fox Cut Stencil #24. I was fortunate to find a teal snowflake Perspextive in my stash to create a visual triangle on my page. I also combed through my stash to find some hearts to add to my page (because I always add hearts to the layouts I give away to my friends and family) and found a perfect spot on the snowman die cut. Hearts are a wonderful accent to add to any layout, and Bramble Fox has loads of hearts in different styles and finishes.

Who doesn't love a banner to add a touch of fun and whimsy to a layout? The banner die cut needed a little something extra, so I added some heart Perspextives for more detail.

As a final note, some of the elements seemed to fade into the white background, so I took a fine-tip pen and outlined the die cuts and letter stickers to add a fun boldness, and I also mounted the photos and die cuts on pop dots for added dimension.

I hope I've inspired you to scrap your winter photos. Make sure you check out the shop to see all the latest additions, and be sure to treat yourself to the Scrapbook Ideas Vol. 1 and Vol. 2 books! You won't be sorry on those days when your mojo is playing hide and seek!
