Snow! | Debbi Tehrani

Hi, everyone! It's still winter here in the U.S., so I thought I'd make just one more wintry page before the season turns. I've used loads of Bramble Fox goodies on this fun page, including two stencils, Perspextives from 4 different sets, and some Paper Snips. Please note that I scrap 8 x 8, so the products look a bit larger on my layouts.

I really liked the sketch from this Month's Bramble Fox challenge, so I used that as a starting point. I used rectangles instead of tags and one photo instead of three.

The snowsuit my grand-niece is wearing in this picture perfectly matches the Feelin' Frosty collection from Simple Stories, and that worked perfectly with the Bramble Fox products I wanted to use. The adorable Penguins from the Chilly Days set, which match up with the skating penguins from last year, are so cute and playful to go with this fun photo of my grand-niece leaping for joy at the first snow. The Snowflakes Perspextives have a handful of pieces in gorgeous finishes, including this beautiful mirror-finished one. I just love the look of the shadows they cast!

I made a border for the top by tracing the Icicle Stencil from the Creative Winter Set onto the back of icy blue polka dot paper and fussy cutting it and then I stitched a strip of pink paper at the top.

Before assembling my page, I made a background of pink snowflakes using the Fox Cut #26 snowflake stencil using various shades of Distress Ink and a blending brush. I made purple snowflakes with the snowflake dies which also came in the Creative Winter Set (that's a must-have set, as it contains a holly leaves and berries die in addition to the snowflakes and icicle stencils. Here's a second snowflake from the Snowflakes Perspextive pack. And of course another cute penguin.

I added some word strips from Paper Snips 001 | General, which are so very versatile.

I added this cute winter hat from the Winter Accessories (this year's Winter Accessories is a beautiful translucent blue) and another Snowflake with a gorgeous iridescent finish to another cluster.

Finally, I added a heart from the Hearts Galore pack to the center of the O in the title, since I always add a heart to the pages I give away.

This was a super fun page to make and there are still loads of gorgeous winter products in the shop which is good because winter is not over yet! And be sure to check out all the amazing new goodies that have been added to the store recently.
