Snap Happy Scrapbook Layout | Julie Taylor

This colour scrapbook layout uses a lot of stencils. Do you love to play with stencils on your backgrounds? The new April Fox Box stencil is perfect for any type of scrapbooking!! It's this gorgeous distressed film strip that could be inked individually or as a multiple like I have on my page.

I first added some Squeezed Lemonade oxide ink, to my background, using the mini brayer & once dry added the stencil over the top, at an angle, using Salvaged Patina oxide ink & I lightly traced around the stencil to make it stand out.

I then built up a central, vertical cluster using acetate film strips, frames, tickets, postage stamps & images cut from an old children's book. I tied all these together with the lovely Essential Elements Spring pieces, this is a fab pack of mini perspextives that you can just add around your page to bring it to life.

The title, Snap Happy, is also new in store & it's in this lovely soft pink shade & the matching camera has a tiny loop so you can 'hang' it off your page....perfect!!!
