Holiday and Water Themed Scrapbook Layout by Wendy Meffan

This scrapbook layout was created using many of the gorgeous Bramble Fox Products like the cute shell perspextives and LIfe's a Beach Woodie which you can find in August Fox Box. I have also used the Paper Snips 033 part of the Fox box plus this month.

I started my layout creating a mixed media background using distress oxides, to coordinate with all the blue perspextive I used papers from 49 and Market Ocean Collection and the die cut frames. There are also papers from hips kits too. Wanting to use three photos I placed them across the page centrally and started to embellish around them. I added a chipboard frame over the middle photo to give some dimension.

I found some co ordinating 12x12 papers in my stash and tore two vertical strips which I attached to the left side of the paper. i knew i wanted the R&R perspextive just to the right of the photos so added afew die cut palm leaves and some ephemera behind it. I fussy cut Lazy days from the Paper Snips #033.

I created a small cluster over the photos to the left using a chipboard Star from the Summer collection and used the Salty Air from the Paper Snips. I cut a tag and palm leaf using dies ( if you look at the rubber ring the design on it is palm leaves which is why I chose to add them into the layout) and added another ephemera tag.

I then moved to the top of the layout which felt a bit empty so I added embellishments around the chipboard Woodie Life is Better at the Beach piece.

As i was deciding if my layout was complete I thought i would compliment the colours with the yellow shells perspextives from the Fox Box . These worked well to bring a bit more colour to the layout . I added three to keep things balanced.
