Pumpkin Pals! - Wendy Meffan
Hi Everyone! It's Wendy here again with my last layout for October, I'm using a collection of Bramblefox products including the cute little Pumpkin Truck perspextive from the November Foxbox, Paper Snips #11 from which I also created an epoxy sticker and the Apples and Pears Woodies. I have used Paige Evans Bungalow Lane Collection and the cutfile is from the Silhouette Store #418226.
I was away scrapping with some of my scrappy friends who some of them you will recognise no doubt and we decided to find a pumpkin farm purely to get some photos! We had a great morning there and lots of fun having pumpkin photos.
I gutted a piece of 12x12 black check gingham paper to create a border for the layout and cut down the white card stock. I decided I would use a large Cutfile as I don't really have pumpkin stash!I backed it using the Bungalow Lane Collection and I chose the Autumn colours and the papers which had gold embossing on them. I positioned the photo to the bottom left as I knew I wanted to have the truck perspextive in the corner. I fussy cut the Pumpkin word strip and added it under the photo.
I spent a long time fussy cutting all the Autumn leaves from two of the papers in the collection and tucked them behind the truck and made a small cluster to the bottom right of the cutfile. I love the little Woodie pieces and added a Pear Woodie to the cluster. I also fussy cut the Autumn fox from the Paper Snips #11 and added an epoxy sticker over the top. These are so brilliant as they look like flair badges, I then attached them both in the centre of the cluster.
The page was still looking a bit bare so I made a large tag which I added behind the photo and again added a cluster of fussy cut leaves . I also fussy cut the gorgeous Autumn envelope from the Paper Snips #11 sheet, distressed the edges and raised it on sticky fixers. Then I added an Apple Woodie into the leaf cluster.
I moved to the top of the layout and added a label sticker to journal in, then made another small cluster of leaves and added another Pear Woodie. I then used some black thickers for the title around the top of the pumpkin cutfile. Having looked a the layout as a whole I decided to draw a fine black line around the edge to give more definition. Finally I felt it was finished!
