Perspextives, Colour and Creativity Scrapbook Layout - Wendy Meffan
This layout is full of Stencilling, Perspextives and Paper Snips all from the April Fox Box Plus. I have created a tone on tone layout using Essential Flowers - Spring perspextives, the gorgeous Family perspextive from the April Fox Box and the Paper Snips #054 and Fox Cut Stencil #93.
I chose to use Paige Taylor Evans Blooming Wild collection which had the perfect colours to coordinate with all the Essential Flowers Spring Perspextives and the beautiful Pastel Family Perspextive. I used the Fox Box Plus Film Strip stencil to create a background centrally down the page using Distress oxides.
I placed the photo centrally and added a few Paper Snip rainbows and the Family perspextive underneath it.
Over each of the different colours I added the corresponding perspextives, Paper Snip rainbows, and clouds which I had fussy cut. With the rainbows a couple had a colour which didn't co ordinate so I cut it out and used the piece on a different colour swatch.
To the side of the photo I created an embellishment cluster using all the coordinating blues from the Paper Collection along with the Perspextives and Paper Snips. I tucked a tag under the right side of the photo and added my journalling.
Having created a full central piece I realised I had a lot of white space so I used a striped paper from the collection and used the 12" scalloped border ruler by Bramble Fox. I distressed the edges and adhered them to either side of the layout.
I then added more coloured perspextives from the Essential Flowers - Spring Collection which also contains butterflies. I also added Essential Hearts - Spring Collection
I did add a few past mini flower and the dragonfly perspextives which co ordinated so well colour wise as a finishing touch.
Do take a look at all the latest new goodies over at www.bramblefox.co.uk...there is so much to tempt you !
Until next time ... Happy Scrapping!
