Hey, Foxy Friends! I'm excited to share my first blog post of the new year. Don't you love when the calendar turns the page to a new year filled with fresh possibilities? And we sure need a fresh year after last year! I'm sharing a layout using the gorgeous new, limited edition Our Story Perspextives (yes, I said limited edition, so you'll want to grab these before they're gone.

Please note that I scrap 8 x 8, so the embellishments look a little larger on my layouts.

This pack comes with the exquisite title piece in a luxurious marshmallow pink matte finish, accompanied by two sweet storybooks with hearts fluttering out of the pages, a pink book and a gray book. I love versatile pieces like this that can really be used for any theme you can think of.

These lovely pieces really stand out against a dark background. I used Crate Paper's Snowflake collection to build my page, but the dark starry background paper is from Simple Stories' Winter Cottage collection. I added splashes of white paint for a snowy look, and to my delight, the paint stuck to the Perspextives.

I added some mirror-finished stars that gave extra sparkle to my page and coordinated so nicely with the foiling in the papers and stickers I used. A few pearls added some extra shine, and some white rub-ons added interest to the background.

Have you treated yourself to Fox Dies yet? Every single set is so full of versatile pieces! For this page I used a tag from Fox Dies #6 to build a little cluster in the corner of my layout. You seriously need to get yourself the Bramble Fox dies. Every single set! And not only are they so awesome and versatile, but the packaging is genius. First, they are a beautiful turquoise color. Second, they come with a magnet to hold your metal dies so the don't fall to the bottom of the package in a jumble.

Finally, I added some stars to a cluster. I purposely left the peel-off film on the pink star to mute the color a little. It's always good to have a variety of stars in your stash to embellish your page. I used a pink star from Oh My Stars. You can also find stars in the gorgeous Winter Stars pack.
