Original & Authentic | Julie Taylor

Hello everyone.

Welcome back to the blog. I'm sharing a male layout today using the Original set available in store. This set has the title piece plus some wood pieces, which I love as i think it adds a lovely texture to your page.

I started with a white cardstock base, which I ripped at the top & cut down slightly at the sides & added to a dark turquoise base. I added a bit of stecilling using orange & blue inks through stencil #113 Distressed Grid.

I then started building up the large cluster that is tucked in the top, ripped section, adding tags, labels, ephemera & buttons.

I placed my photo onto a few pieces of patterned paper & added the title on the left & word strips & more buttons on the right.

To balance the page being very top heavy I added another cluster at the bottom, adding in ephemera, buttons & extending the title with a foam letter word.

I added the wood pieces, out the pack, around the page, to bring in the texture & added interest.
