Napier Escape | Michelle Henderson
Hi All - I'm so happy to share my very first layout as a member of the new Challenge Team with you!
I do have a rather large stash (ahem) of perspextives to bust so I hope you'll join me while I whittle it down.
This page documents our family trip to Napier here in New Zealand earlier this year. It's a town built on the seafront and these gorgeous old villas face out to sea, they're known as the Six Sisters.
The tic tac toe challenge line I used was Stamping, Stitching and Lace.
The fabulous little houses and tree in the bottom cluster are ones I've had for a while - I know some of you are bound to have some still 😉 The cut file and stamped houses made it feel like a little town.
It was a toss up whether or not to back the Escape perspextive for my title, but in the end I decided to leave it bare, as the first word in the title had plenty of colour. I also "had" to add a butterfly because who doesn't love a good butterfly??
The rest of my layout is a mix of Pink Paislee, Paige Evans, Maggie Holmes, Altenew, white acrylic paint and Nuvo Drops.
I hope I've given you a bit more inspiration for the challenge, can't wait to see your take on it!
Michelle
