Multi coloured stencilling | Julie Taylor

Do you just stencil your background in one colour? Have you tried it using multiple ink colours? The effects can look stunning & give a real individual look.

I've used stencil #94 cityscape to depict the buildings in my photo & used it at the side of the photo to look like it's carrying over onto the page. I've used a few brown & green inks & lightly stencilled along, mixing the colours & then I drew around the outline with a grey fineliner pen to help it stand out. I've done 2 rows, doing the back one first before the front.

I continued the horizontal line with some patterned paper & set my photo cluster on top & added the Memorable perspextive which is out the July Fox Box.

I added some more stencilling using #95 Travel borders & added a tag, going downwards to draw the eye down the page.

I finished the layout by adding extra stencilling down the bottom & adding a small cluster over the top.

Thanks for joining me today & why not give multi coloured stencilling a go.

Until next time,
