Movie Magic Scrapbook Layout | Debbi Tehrani

Get ready to scrapbook your movie memories because the February Fox Box has a gorgeous golden "Movie Magic" title Perspextive and a generous handful of fun movie-themed embellishments (plus a whole lot more that will help you scrapbook other themes). I used all of the movie-themed embellishments, plus the fabulous film reel stencil and Paper Snips (included in the February Fox Box Plus) to create this fun layout documenting a trip to the movies with my mom and a friend. Please note that I scrap 8 x 8, so products look a bit larger on my layouts.

Just look at this gorgeous title piece. It's got a beautiful golden shimmer, and the fonts are just fantastic! And how about that Oscar statue standing on the black pedestal? Brilliant details in this Fox Box! I created a background for my layout by brushing Salvaged Patina Distress Oxides through the stencil in the Fox Box Plus.

The colors of the movie elements went so perfectly with my photograph, so I raided my red, yellow, aqua, and black paper scraps drawers and cut them in strips and stitched them down both sides of my page. I used Film Strip Borders Fox Dies #20 to add another layer on the left, which of course, goes well with the movie theme. I love that our outfits matched the Fox Box. This layout was meant to be!

Beside the photo, I added that fantastic etched popcorn Perspextive, a few tickets from my stash, and the clapperboard circular image from the Paper Snips. If you don't have the Paper Snips Label Fox Dies #16, it's a must-have for cutting the bottom portion of the Paper Snips that will give your snips a professional look that fussy cutting can't achieve. I topped the circle with an Epoxy Sticker to create a shiny flair!

I found some star Perspextives in my stash to match the title. The smaller stars are from the Shiny Stars pack and the Monochrome Stars pack. Whenever I see hearts or stars in the shop, I buy an extra pack because they're such versatile embellishments and of course, they're essential for a movie-themed page!

The Fox Box comes with two fabulous clapperboard Perspextives, and I added one above the photo, along with a red brad from my stash. Just look at the etched detail on these pieces! And how fun are the phrase strips in the Paper Snips--so clever to have a filmstrip edge!

I mirrored the paper strips in the bottom right corner and added a cluster of embellishments from the Fox Box: a star flair to create a visual triangle with the star Perspextives; another etched clapperboard; and tickets and a word strip from the Paper Snips. Plus a red brad from my stash to echo the brad on the upper left.

The details in this Fox Box are just sensational! Be sure to go check the Fox Box out because it's way more than movie-themed. I can't wait to see what you'll create with this awesome kit!
