Mixed Media 12x12 layout | Julie Taylor
Bramble Fox don't only sell perspextives, there's so much more, in store, to entice & add to your pages.
I started this page by adding some ink, using the packaging technique & stencilling over the top with Fox Cut Stencil #21 Stars, using the Blending Brushes, these make stencilling so easy. I then went over the top with a bit of stamping using the stars on Fox stamp #5, this gave me a lovely background for my design.
I was inspired by the shape of the Las Vegas sign. It's such an iconic shape & perfect for adding lots of patterned papers to your layout. I drew around the Las Vegas perspextive, onto some card, & used that as a template to cut my patterned papers. I then added these in a grid pattern, after distressing the edges, & machine stitched them down.
,
I added the perspextive Vegas sign onto some patterned paper, to help it stand out on the busy page & added it to the right & a fabric sign, out my stash, on the left.
The page was already busy so I kept my embellishing to a minimum, adding 2 small photos, a few tickets & some playing card symbols & dollar shape that came in the perspextive pack.
One of the Vintage Hands Woodies points to all the action & mounting onto black cardstock & adding the black border calms down all the colour on the page.
I love how fun this layout turned out & another memory documented for my travel album.
Until next time,
