Hey Bramble Fox friends! I hope you’re all having a lovely summer so far :)

I’m here today showing you a fun layout I made for the July Hello Summer Recipe challenge.

I used collections from Obed Marshall and as you can see it’s very pink! I think this might be one of my all time favourite layouts.

One of the patterned papers had this fun sunburst pattern, but I didn’t like all the colours. So I decided to cut it apart and add two other pink patterned papers to this sunburst and I just love how it turned out.

I stitched each panel on a white sheet of 12x12 card and used metallic gold thread for extra shimmer and distressed the edges of each panel for extra texture. My two tags are tucked behind my photo, as well as all the fun floral ephemera pieces and stickers. The photo is of myself in our garden and of course - my cat Lexie! I couldn’t create a layout and not feature my fur baby. It’s a bit of an ongoing theme here :)

The layout is very pink which I like, however I needed something to break up the colour and decided to go for this beautiful black Love This Life perspextive, which I’ve had in my stash! The stark contrast really draws your eyes to the title and I just think pink & black goes so well together.

And of course I had to use my favourite pieces: the petites! I scattered mini pink stars (which are available here) around my cluster for the perfect finishing touch.

I had so much fun creating this layout and looking at it just makes me happy and I hope it inspires you!
