Love & Laughter Scrapbook Layout | Debbi Tehrani

Sweet, happy moments just beg to be documented, and the Love & Laughter title Perspextive in the September Fox Box is perfect for scrapbooking your favorite joyful photos. I combined this wonderful title with several other elements from the September Fox Box Plus to create this delightful layout. (In case you don't know, I scrap 8 x 8, so products look a bit larger on my pages.)

I chose to use an old Scenic Route collection, Loveland, which is perfect with the pinks and reds in my photos and the Perspextives.

My starting point for this layout was a Bramble Fox sketch. I sort of veered off once I got started, but sketches are, after all, starting points.

Here's a look at that beautiful title Perspextive that was the inspiration for this layout. I wanted to make sure it would show up against the pink background, so I matted the title on red cardstock and placed it on a circle from a Loveland patterned paper that I fussy-cut. I cut it in half so I could make it span the height of the title. Before placing anything down, I used the Fox Cut Stencil that came with the Fox Box Plus to create interest in the background.

I ran a dotted piece of cardstock down the left side of my page, like in the sketch, and stitched a striped border created with the awesome Office Borders from the Fox Dies #21 set. This is a must-have die set! I created interest in my photos by layering them with various elements: a stamped frame, a rub-on label, and a ticket and tab from the Paper Snips in the Fox Box Plus. A fabric brad add extra texture and dimension. If you're wondering how I got such a perfect cut on that tab from the Paper Snips, I used the awesome Fox Dies #16 Paper Snips Labels, which gives a professional look to your snips that fussy-cutting can't do!

Here's a shot of the other photo, which I similarly layered, adding a sweet pink heart clip and stapling the "photo op" element from the Paper Snips.

And of course, I had to use the pink hand heart embellishment from the Fox Box that coordinates with the title. I made a similar cluster like I did with the title, using a circle, stamped flowers, pearl brads, and a stamped phrase.

Finally, I created another cluster in the bottom right corner to create a visual triangle, using similar elements. I found a heart Perspextive in my stash that had the same matte pink color and used another label from the Paper Snips. Attaching the label with a zig-zag stitch is an easy way to add some texture.

I know you'll just love the September Fox Box, which is filled with beautiful and fun elements for a wide variety of looks. Be sure to order soon, as the kit ships on September 4. Here's a peek at what you'll find in the Fox Box Plus:
