Love Captured | Cheryl Gerhard
Hi all! Happy New Year! Cheryl here today with another very pink layout, because it's that time of the year when everything is pink, red and cute.... :)
This month's challenge is to include a handmade element on our layouts, and if there is one thing I love creating, it's handmade embellishments! Shakers are definitely one of my favourites to create, so I had to make some for this layout of course.

I used the Fox Dies #1 polaroid die to cut my paper and sandwiched sequins between two pieces of thin acetate. Instead of using foam tape for my shakers, I have used double sided tape, as I'm trying to keep my sequins from moving around too much.

The collection I'm working with is Happy Hearts by Simple Stories and how perfect is this soft pink love perspextive for this layout?! I have also used a polaroid perspextive to frame my photo and I love how it draws your eyes to the centre of the page.

I have added embellishments from the collection around my cluster, and to finish my layout, I added a couple of drops of a pink mist, as well as the warm hearts mini perspextives. These adorable little hearts have been a favourite of mine and I think everyone needs them! :)
Adding handmade elements is such a fun and unique way to add a personal touch to scrapbooking. Don't forget to add your layout to the Bramble Fox Friends Facebook group to join the monthly challenge and win £15 to spend in the shop
