Love and Laughter Scrapbook Layout - Wendy Meffan
The Love and Laughter perspextive from the September Fox Box is a perfect title for my layout. Trying to get my children to take a decent photo first time around is really difficult! They find it hilarious to pull funny faces and make hand gestures! This always ends up with a lot of Love and Laughter to achieve the perfect photo! I have used the Heart Hands perspextive along with paper Snips #062 and Fox Cut Stencil #106 ( these two extra elements make up the Fox Box Plus for September) The paper collection is the March 2024 kit from Hip Kit Club.
I chose my selection of photos and presented them in a vertical strip and matted them with paper from the March 24 Hip Kit. One of the 12x12 striped papers from the kit had two floral clusters in the corners which I fussy cut as I didn't want a striped backed ground. I positioned them in the same place but on white card stock. This enabled me to use Fox Cut Stencil #106 and do some stencilling around the edges of the flowers.
Around the edges of the photo strip I created three clusters, at the top left I added a journal card and some more fussy cut floral ephemera along with the Heart Hands and also the Celebrate Today tab from paper Snips #062. Again I used the Stencil #106 around the edges.
Moving down to the bottom right of the photo strip I decided this was the best place for the main Love and Laughter perspextive title. I embellished with ephemera from the Hip Kit and puffy stickers and added stencilling around the edges.
Finally to the mid right of the photo strip I stencilled some more and added a very small cluster of flowers and ephemera. In the large floral cluster in the corner I added the fussy cut Together is the Best Place to Be tab from the Paper Snips #062 and some more faint stencilling.
I cut off two 1cm strips from the edges white card stock and distressed the edges and then gutted a 12x12 paper and created a narrow border around the edge of the layout.
I love how this all came together and the pastel pink perspextives were perfect to match in with my photos and the paper collection.
