Life @ Home
Hi Foxy Friends! I'm back on the blog sharing a LO using the gorgeous Lockdown Life @ Home perspextive from the March Foxbox. I have found documenting our life in lockdown quite therpeutic and also a fantastic keepsake for our future generations to see how we coped through the pandemic.
I chose my colour scheme based on the perspextive colour and felt that grey and pink coordinate well together . I made a mixed media background using a stencil and opaque white texture paste. I then used my distress oxides over the top to bring some colour into the background. I added a couple of torn strips of paper down the right hand side.
As the theme was about life at home, I wanted to have houses on my LO and used my Hip Kit Club house stamps. I stamped a variety of shapes and sizes and varied the colour, then I arranged them vertically down the left side of the page. I raised some up on sticky fixers to add dimension, I then added the super cute little padlock perspextive and the home perspextive among the houses.
I added some puffy rainbows amongst the house too always as a symbol of hope.
I kept my photo as a 6x4 to focus on life @home and then matted it and added the perspextive title across the top for the title.
I made some tags which I attached under the photo and then journalled on them. Finally I attached the grey globe perspextive at the bottom of the photo.
I hope this layout may offer you some inspiration for our documenting of Lockdown. Be sure to post your LO on the Bramblefox facebook page, we love to see them and don't forget there are plenty more gorgeous new goodies in the shop so why not take a look .
Till next time ... Happy Scrapping !
