Lazy Days | Debbi Tehrani
Hey, Bramble Fox friends! Today I have a layout featuring the adorable Sloths Perspextives from the brand-new Wild Life Collection, along with a few other products new in the shop. I have to thank Melanie Hyatt for the idea of using these Perspextives to scrap about my recent retirement after teaching for 32 years. Please note that I scrap 8 x 8, so the products will look a bit larger on my layouts.
I used an papers from older collection from One Canoe Two that I thought complemented the Perspextives. That title from the Lazy Days pack is so gorgeous--it's got a beautiful velvet matte finish, and the color is such a pretty shade of green. I added some tiny brown enamel dots to tie in with the sloths and a phrase from Paper Snips 010 | Wildlife.
I applied some distress ink to Fox Cut Stencil #39 with a blending brush to create some flowers to add interest to the background. Then, I used my finger to smudge some gesso over the petals to soften them and give them some dimension. Some zigzag stitching adds subtle texture to the patterned paper. The blue phrase is from Paper Snips 010 | Wild Life.
Seriously, can these little Sloths be any cuter? You get 4 in the pack, in various poses, so you'll have plenty for multiple layouts. These critters also have that lovely velvet matte finish with wonderful etched detailing. The light green leaves were made with Fox Cut Stencil #39 and distress ink applied with a blending brush.
And here's the other Sloth I used, in a totally different pose. So darling! I finished off my layout with some stamping and some Nuvo drops.
You must go check out the wonderful new Wild Life Collection! I hope I've given you some ideas for using some of the awesome new products in the shop. I can't wait to see what you'll make with them! Please be sure to share them with us in the Bramble Fox Friends Facebook group and tag us on Instagram.
Until next time, have fun scrapping!
