Handy Scrapbooking Tips By Rebecca Meadows
My top three scrapbooking tips of the day!
We all need a few extra hints and tips when it comes to Scrapbooking and Scrapbooking ideas.
The Bramble Fox blog is full of handy ideas to save time, add more mixed media, and ideas about using new products.
In this layout I have fussycut papers and Snips #049 From the Jan Fox Box Plus to make my layouts have extra layers.
The paper snips are great value and are currently on offer as a grab bag so they are perfect low cost way to make your scrapping supplies go that little further.
I like to think about my background card stock as this can really make the layout pop. Using a patterned or a black background can help to create drama to your layout.
I often use a black Cardstock background as my base, then add mixed media.
I have used January Fox Box Plus stencil and texture paste to add a pop of White behind my clusters. Then added splatter of white acrylic paint.
As I chose a black title, I made sure that the texture paste and stencil splatter was big enough for my title to sit over so that it could be seen against the black cardstock.
My final tip is to add dimension by creating layers, I have done this by fussycutting paper snips #049. I layered the journalling tabs, then used epoxy flair to add extra dimension.
I added arrows from the arrows galore set, this set is a wonderful mix of colours, perfect for almost any layout!
My title and the treasured memory tab add extra definition and interest to my page and help to tell the story.
Thank you for taking a look at my blog post, while you are here, please take a look at the blog posts and tips from other members of the Bramble Fox Team.
Rebecca.
