Hello Foxy friends

I'm sharing a full out tropical layout today, using some new & older stencils & an August Fox Box title piece & some new adorable flamingos!!

I had a little crafty weekend away recently & our host put on a lovely afternoon tea & decorated her gorgeous garden with a tropical theme!! Well being a scrapper I noticed the lovely big tropical leaves, that she'd made a banner out of, & saw there was a few on the table & cheekily asked if I could have one!! & this was the start of this page!!

When I got home I realised I'd picked up 2 leaves & used those as the base of my layout, stitching them into place. I then stencilled on some further leaves from Fox Cut #40, at the top & bottom of the large leaves.

I ran a few strips of patterned paper, down the centre, over the leaves, adding some fringed paper & a couple of bright straws, hand stitching them into place.

I then decided I needed some tropical flowers & thought I'd have a go at making some to match my page.

I first added some oxide inks to some water colour paper & then using Fox Cut #29, I drew through it onto the back & fussy cut them out. I distressed & curled the edges & layered them on top of each other giving a fab 3D effect.

Using the same Fox Cut stencil #40 I added some green texture paste & inked a few leaves, again onto water colour paper, fussy cut them out & added those into the flower clusters.

My title sits on top of the bottom flowers & I added 2 of the new flamingos to add to the theme.

I love how this layout turned out & hope I've given you a few different ideas on using your stencils!!

Until next time,
