Going Underground! - Wendy Meffan

Hi Everyone! It's Wendy here and I'm sharing my first layout for February using the gorgeous lightbulb perspextives which were in the Advent Calendar and are now shop products by popular demand! They are gold and silver in colour with a gorgeous metallic finish. I have used a variety of embellishments from Hip Kit Club kits.

To start this layout I decided to use photos from New Year's Eve so I could use both the 2022 and 2023 lightbulbs together. This year we went to a fancy dress party and the theme was London Underground. I gutted a piece of 12x12 card stock to make a border and then used a piece of patterned paper for the background. I then machine stitched around the edge of it. Next I created a large London Underground sign in red card stock and decided to place the photos inside. I placed the lightbulb for 2022 to the left and lower down and purposely put the 2023 lightbulb higher up to signify leaving behind

2022 and moving into 2023.

The light bulbs are coloured in silver and gold metallic so are quite sparkly. To give extra effect I backed them in silver and gold glitter card stock.

I embellished around the photos and perspextives with pieces from previous hip kit winter kits. Then I added the title around the London Underground sign.
