Gingerbread Houses! - Wendy Meffan
Hi Everyone! It's Wendy here and I can't believe it's December! Christmas will soon be with us before we know it. My layout today is using the Baking Spirits Bright perspextives and the cute little Gingerbread woodies available in the shop. I have used the Simple Stories Baking Spirits Bright Collection which gives the perfect combination for documenting this family tradition of making Gingerbread Houses every year.
I wanted to have the large title perspextive Baking Spirits Bright as the main title of my page and quite central, so it worked perfectly to use four small photos underneath it. This was also great for documenting the Gingerbread house from start to finish. I matted all four photos and then used a large rectangular piece of paper behind.
I sewed part of a circle to join the photos to the paper and then added the cute mixer perspextive along with a Christmas tree and oven glove die cut from the collection.
I embellished at the other end of the photo strip using the gorgeous Gingerbread House Woodie along with some baking utensil die cuts.
I then wanted to use the little gingerbread men woodies as I felt they would look cute cascading down the side of the patterned paper.
I then added the apron die cut from the collection and added the main title perspextive Baking Spirits Bright over the top. I love how the white chef's hat can be removed from the perspextive!
I added a couple of paper strips top and bottom of the layout and embellished at the top with another Gingerbread House Woodie.
I added the Sugar and Spice Woodie over the photos.
Finally I used the Gingerbread Men ephemera and popped them behind the pictures and the patterned paper to look like they were peeking out!
I love how this layout turned out and the perspextives and woodies were the perfect embellishments.

I hope you can find time to scrap in this busy time with all the latest goodies.
