Feels Like Summer Scrapbook Layout - Wendy Meffan

Do you love taking Summer Photos? The June products are such lovely colours and Summer themed, perfect to help document your pictures. i have used the Summer Sunglasses and the pink flip flops on my layout. They are from the Summer Sunnies perspextive Collection. I have also dug deep in my stash and used the Fox Cut stencil of the tropical leaves. I have also used a combination of Paper Snips #025 and #038. The paper collection is Simple Stories Just Beachy Collection.

We have now started going to our Happy Place in Spain earlier in the year for some winter sun. I never tire of photographing the sunset and I love documenting it. The Summer Sunglasses with the extra thicker words made the perfect title for me as it just feels like Summer in February! I chose to use the Simple Stories Just Beachy Collection as the colours were perfect for both the perspextives and my photo. I cut vertical strips of several of the papers and then sewed them to the layout.

I then matted my photo and positioned it centrally over the strips. I added some stickers from the collection which I stuck to white card stock and fussy cut. Then using the Paper Snips I embellished around them and used some epoxy flair.

I used a much older Bramble fox tropical leaves stencil, and used distress oxides to ink onto spare card stock. I then fussy cut all the leaves out and added them below the photo.

Finally I added the Sunglass perspextives over the photo, and used twine for the flip flop perspextives to tie them together and hang them from the layout.
