February 2025 Challenge
Yay! It's time for a new challenge over on Bramble Fox Friends. Pockets are a fun way of storing more photos or ephemera on your pages. This is really handy when you have a lot to document or tickets to store. So this month, get creative and add a pocket to your pages.
I do love a pocket or two. They are easy to make - simply adhere a photo or mat on 3 sides leaving the top open and voila! An instant pocket. You can think about using old envelopes or paper bags as handy pockets too - the possibilities are endless.
I documented photos from Nichola's wedding reception which was a Hollywood/Bollywood theme. So bright colours were a must! The evening also centred around music, so naturally I needed to reflect that in the page. I love the fun musical border and double-bass player. These are part of a fun Jazz set which has awesome silhouette figures playing instruments and musical notes.
To hold the invitation and ephemera, I simply made a larger photo mat and turned it into a pocket. This page is great way to mix up papers from different collections.
