Hi, Bramble Fox friends! Today I'm sharing a sweet layout using some pieces from the gorgeous May Fox Box. Please note that I scrap 8 x 8, so the products look a bit larger on my layouts.

I chose the beautiful sky blue title and matching cameras from the Fox Box, so I looked for some patterned papers with the same sky blue and found the perfect collection, Day in the Life by Echo Park.

I started out my layout by creating the border at the top. I used a couple of patterned papers from the Day in the Life collection. I used the awesome Torn Edge Border Template on the floral pattern. If you don't have this tool, you must get it. It makes the perfect torn edge every time! I added some sky blue scalloped borders made with a border to the striped paper and stitched it down for some pretty texture. Once I had the border assembled, I decided on the placement of my elements. I used some sky blue matting on my two photos and then cut out and distressed the edges of some ledger bits from one of the cut-apart sheets in the Day in the Life collection to add behind the photos.

Next, and before I adhered the photos, I used the fabulous Brick Wall Fox Cut Stencil #49 to create interest in the background, using a Blending Brush and Abandoned Coral Distress Oxides ink. I love the way the stenciling looks on the canvas-textured cardstock.

Once I had the background and foundation of my page set up, It was time to do the fun part of my layout--the embellishment clusters. I fussy-cut rainbows and flowers out of patterned papers from the Echo Park collection. There were three blue cameras in the Fox Box, so I was able to add a camera to each of my three clusters. Seriously...how gorgeous is the etched detailing on these pieces? I elevated some of the floral bits with pop dots. When I was done assembling the page, I added gloss white Nuvo drops.

I cut some words and phrases from the Paper Snips that came in the April Fox Box and attached them with some clip stickers from the Day in the Life collection, adding one to the Polaroid Camera.

One of my favorite tips is to not call a layout finished when you're done with it. Set it aside for the evening and the next day, before photographing the layout, take another look to see if anything is missing. I always do this and usually find myself adding that perfect something that I hadn't thought of the day before. I felt like something cute and whimsical needed to be added to this sweet layout of my friend's granddaughter and found these cute bunny puffy stickers that I tucked into each of the embellishment clusters.

I can't wait to see what you'll make with the May Fox Box. Please share your creations by tagging us on Instagram and sharing your layouts in the Bramble Fox Friends Facebook group.

Until next time...have fun scrapping!
