Falala | Julie Taylor
Have you seen the new Christmas stuff in store? Lots of gorgeousness to suit all types of pages.
While on my travels i spotted this fabulous postbox topper & just had to stop & take a few, well lots!!, of photos to scrap. Post boxes always remind me of christmas, don't know why!! So together I teamed the Falala title with some of the mushrooms out of last months Fox Box & a few woodie pieces.
I've used one of the sketches from Marvellous Monday to kick start my page.
I first measured out the centre stitched rectangle, drawing it lightly in pencil. & then added the brick element using #49 Brick Wall stencil adding it in 3 places using some texture paste. Once dry i added inks & drew around each brick to give definition & added some splatters.
I then added my stitched rectangle. I cut apart Paper Snips #66 & added these across the middle as an anchor to my photos & elements.
I layered up my photos onto some patterned papers & then embellished around them with stamps, rub ons, tickets & tabs.
My title piece is out the store & I added it centrally between the 2 larger photos.
The woodies were perfect for this page, winter tab word, cute bird & oak leaf. I love the texture they bring. Another perspextive that just had to be used was the lovely postbox out the Christmas Elements pack & a red bow to finish it all off!!
Thanks for joining me today. I hope I've given you a bit of inspiration for the coming season.
Until next time,
