Falala: A 3-Photo Christmas Layout | Debbi Tehrani

We're approaching the end of October, and Christmas will be here before we know it! The gorgeous new Festive Collection is packed full of fabulous Christmas titles and embellishments to scrapbook all your holiday memories! I created this lovely Christmas layout featuring three adorable photos of my grand-niece using the Falala title from the Family Feast pack and the Bows & Candy Canes pack, along with a handful of other awesome bramble Fox products.

The centerpiece of my layout is that beautiful, translucent Falala title! Just look at the etched stripes and the two different fonts. Such wonderful details on this piece!

To start my layout, I created a background by using the Mini Brayer to apply Salvaged Patina Distress Oxides and created patterns on my white cardstock using two Bramble Fox Stencils: Candy Canes & Trees Stencil #82 with Barn Door Distress Ink and Lattice Pattern Stencil #75 with Salvaged Patina Distress Oxides.

After creating my background, I started with a border at the top using patterned papers from Bella Blvd's Santa Stops Here. I added a border in black to coordinate with a few of the black elements on my page using the Film Strips Borders Fox Dies #20, one of my favorite Bramble Fox products. These dies are so versatile and add such great interest to any page. Some red pom pom trim adds extra texture and whimsy. Bramble Fox has pom pom trim in an array of colors.

The beautiful etched Christmas bows and Candy Canes pack comes with three different colors--pink, red, and mint--in three different sizes, so you have a lot of pieces for many layouts! The tags, labels, peppermint flair, and word strips were cut from the Festive Fun Paper Snips 015. I added silver eyelets and striped baker's twine for some shine and texture and to customize the tag.
