Scrapbooking Layout For Everyday Stories
This 12x12 scrapbook layout is about scrapping the everyday. I used the following items to help me create this page from the November Fox Box:
Simple stories - Wildflower collection
White card stock
3"x 2" rectangles
Coordinating embroidery thread
Stencil #79
Everyday Stories Perspextive
3 x adorable book Perspextives
Papersnips #47
One epoxy flair
Distress oxides in Chipped Sapphire and Evergreen Bough
I used a blending tool to gently brush the chipped sapphire from the left corner to the right and then followed the same direction with stencil #79 with the chipped sapphire and then directly over the top with the evergreen bough to achieve the colour I was happy with. I also watered down some of the sapphire and flicked it over the page before setting it aside to dry.
I next cut twelve rectangles 3" x 2", distressed the edges and used the coordinating embroidery thread to sew round the edges. I stuck them to the paper using foam pads to create some height in my layout.
I stuck my photo, just off centre and created embellishment clusters on the top and bottom left of the photos. The clusters were made up of items from the Wildflower collection, paper snips and a apoxy flair.
I stuck the prespextive to the right of my photo, added some more papersnips and some journaling of who I am and a little about me as a person.
Next I used the adorable mini books using glossy accents and some florals from the collection. Lastly I added my final cluster of flowers and a pretty moth to the top right of the rectangles to complete this layout.
