Endless Summer | Debbi Tehrani
Hey, Bramble Fox fans! I'm sharing a summery layout I created using the beautiful Endless Summer title from the July Fox Box, along with a number of other Bramble Fox products. Please note that I scrap 8 x 8, so the products look a bit larger on my pages.
I used Echo Park's Pool Party collection from last summer, which beautifully coordinates with the aqua color of the title piece. I wanted a summery yellow background, so I grabbed a polka dot paper from another collection.
I arranged some of the patterned papers to anchor my photos and before adhering them, I used texture paste and the Fox Cut #18 stencil to create sun rays. I added some white acrylic paint to the texture paste so it would be more opaque. And of course a few birds from the Flock of Seagulls were a perfect addition to fly through the sunburst.
I found a tab from the Travel Tabs pack to match my title. As I said, I scrap 8 x 8, so sometimes the products are a bit large for my pages. The tab looked really huge on my photo, so I added a thin striped strip to break up the expanse of aqua above the photo. That navy Awesome tab is from Paper Snips #001.
I fussy-cut some leafy bits from one of the Pool Party papers to tuck behind the photos. The phrase strips on my page also came from Paper Snips #001. I always add a heart to the pages I give away, and I found a matching heart in the Hearts Galore pack. The starfish was made with the Fox Dies #1, which is a wonderful, versatile die set.
The anchor is from the same die set and, along with another starfish, lends some more interest and texture to the embellishment cluster on the right side. Vellum adds another layer to a photo mat without adding too much weight, and the sheer quality adds an additional interesting texture to a layout. You can see I added some more phrases from the Paper Snips.
There are so many fabulous new goodies in the shop, so be sure to pop over there and browse. I can't wait to see what you make with these awesome products! Please do tag us on Instagram and also share your work in the Bramble Fox Friends Facebook group.
Until next time, keep on scrapping!
