Count Your Blessings! - Wendy Meffan

wendymeffan

Hi Everyone! It's Wendy here and we're marching into November and I'm sharing a layout using up my final piece from my November Foxbox. I have used the Count Your Blessings perspextives along with some photos of my children who I feel truly blesssed by. I have used Paige Evans Bungalow Lane Collection.

I decided I would create three vertical columns of hearts and intersperse three photos of my kids which had all been taken in close succession when we were all out together. I drew and hand cut all the hearts and then positioned them on the page. I layered them into twos and threes on top of each other. Then I sewed through all of them with a dark thread to bring contrast to the layout.

I added the perspextive as a title in the right hand column.

Having sewn the hearts the layout was almost complete, I added a few puffy stickers and stickers from the paper collection around the layout to embellish.

Finally I added some gold splatters over the layout. The paper collection was perfect as a lot of the papers are embossed in gold which was a great colour match for the Count your Blessings perspextive.
