Colorful, Happy Friendship Scrapbook Layout | Debbi Tehrani

I love scrapbooking with bright, happy colors, and the "Great Friends" title Perspextive from the November Fox Box jumped right out at me! I had the perfect photos of my pastor and friend's pup posed with her fellow pastors. Besides the title Perspextive and stencil from the November Fox Box Plus, I used several other Bramble Fox goodies. Please note that since I scrap 8 x 8, the products look a bit larger on my layouts.

The Bramble Fox acrylic title Perspextives are always a highlight of any page, and the mint title in this Fox Box is a showstopper! With my title as my starting point, I searched for a dog embellishment that would work with the color, and I found this cute little pup from Simple Stories' Life is Ruff collection and then looked to my scrap drawers to find paper scraps that would coordinate. Before adhering the strips, I created some stripes on my background using Tim Holtz Salvaged Patina Distress Ink (which is a perfect match with the mint title) and the awesome Fox Cut Stencil #69 Office Borders.

Once I started figuring out where my photos and embellishments would go, I wanted more interest in the background, so I used the brand new Fox Stamps #5 Doodles, which has a whole assortment of cool designs to decorate your background. I stamped in two colors of Distress Ink--Salvaged Patina and Spiced Marmalade mixed with Vintage Photo.

I had some white space between the stenciled stripes and the stamping, so I used the very cool stencil from the Fox Box Plus, which has circles and diamond shapes. I found parts of the stencil that just had circles and made a column of circles on the right and diamonds on the left.

How fun are the hexagons I added? The pack of Mini Hexagons comes in all sorts of colors and sizes and are such a versatile accent. And I had to add a heart because I always add hearts to the pages I give away, plus I needed something in that mint color to balance the title on the opposite side. The Box of Hearts fit the bill and is a must-have--not only do you get a bunch of hearts, but also a pack of stars plus a 10-compartment storage box!

Here's a look at that stencil, which I think is going to be very versatile. You can see there are some parts where the diamonds and circles are placed together and then some spots where there are just circles or just diamonds. And with the Blending Brushes in the bramble Fox shop, you can easily color just the parts of a stencil you want.

I used my new favorite Fox-Die -- #17 View Master Reel. To add to the visual triangle I wanted to create on my layout. You can see in this picture the stenciled spiral-edge border I made with the Vintage Photo and Spiced Marmalade Distress Inks and the Office Borders Stencil. That little turned-over corner with the staples is a trick I learned from a Workshop I took with our very own Julie Taylor. I highly recommend taking these workshops, as you learn so many tips and tricks to add special touches to your pages! Some ribbon tabs and a phrase strip add more texture and interest to my page.

And here's one last look at the top left side of my layout, where you can see how I made a diamond border with the stencil that comes in the November Fox Box. You can also see the faux stitching I used on the paper, which is from the Fox Stamps #5|Doodles. If you read my blog posts, you know that I always let my page sit overnight so I can give it one last look before I call it done, and I added these metal squares to the to left and bottom right patterned strips. They gave my page one more different texture and I think they finished off the page perfectly!

And before I let you go, I just want to say you definitely want to get this stamp set. Just look at all the different designs that will add so much texture and interest to any page--and since it's a stamp, you can use any color and it never gets used up. I tell you, it's a great investment!

If you haven't yet subscribed to the Fox Box (or better yet, the Fox Box Plus, which includes Paper Snips, 5 epoxy stickers, and an awesome stencil), now is a great time! I can't wait to see what you create with it. Please be sure to share your creations with us by tagging us on Instagram and by adding your creations to our Bramble Fox Friends Facebook Group.

Until next time, have fun scrapping!
