Celebrate! - Wendy Meffan

Hi everyone! It's Wendy here on the blog and I'm sharing a layout using the gorgeous blue Celebrate perspextive from the July foxbox, along with a few mini heart perspextives and a cute pink camera perspextive.

I decided to make my photo black and white as I felt it allowed me to use any colour combination with it. I chose the Pink fresh Studio Happy Bloom Collection which is so pretty, I picked out the cornflower blue colour from the ephemera and used a blue distress oxide to create a mixed media background. Then I chose some journal bits and cut a 3x4 piece from the 12x12 cut apart page and distressed their edges. I used sticky fixers between them all and created a photo mat with some dimension, the I added the photo.

I used the ephemera flowers to create three clusters around the layout. I fussy cut off some of the extra white around the edges of the flowers, I raised them on sticky fixed for more dimension and attached them to the layout. To the bottom right I added the large Celebrate perspextive, it worked so perfectly with the colours of the collection.

At the top of the layout over the pink journal card I added the pink July banner perspextive as our wedding anniversary is in July.

Then to the left of the photo I added a pink camera perspextive which was the perfect balance of perspextives on the layout.

To finish off the layout I dotted a few mini perspextive hearts and some enamel dots.
