Capturing the everyday moments - 12x12 layout - Stephanie Louise

This 12 x 12 layout captures the moments with children that could easily be forgotten. I used items from the December Fox Box Plus. With its fabulous paint splodge stencil, fabulous Paper Snips and the fabulous creative Perspextives.

Using the Carte Bella Happy Crafting collection I gutted a sheet of their patterned paper and left a one inch boarder. I trimmed 3/4" off of some textured card stock, distressed the edges and stuck it down.

I then used paint splodge stencil down the right side and along the bottom using Tim Holtz distress ink in coordinating colours.

I backed my photo and using foam pads stuck it to my page. I cut out some fabulous PaperSnips and tucked them under my photo before adding the Create roller and the Amazing paint brush also included in this months Fox Box.

I then added the Noteworthy Perspextive to the top of the page and added my journaling on raised 1/4" wide strips.

I completed my layout creating a boarder round the edge of orange embroidery thread simply stuck to the paper using a thin line of PVA glue and tied in a bow.
