Brighton Marina - Wendy Meffan

HI everyone! It's Wendy here again sharing my third post for March and this time I'm using some of the very latest items in the shop this month. I have used the new Fox Cut #33 stencil. I have also used Swallows and Spring Meadow Perspextives and the new Papersnips 001 Sheet.

I used the Fox Cut #33 hexagon stencil and used distress oxides and stencilled directly onto the page. Then I stencilled onto a spare piece of white card stock and cut out the hexagons and added them around the layout on sticky fixers to create dimension. I used the B side of the 12x12 Right Now paper from the Pinkfresh Studio Noteworthy Collection as a border and also to mat the photo. I positioned the photo centrally on the layout. Around the photo I added fussy cut flowers from the Pinkfresh Studio Happy Blooms Collection. I added some of the Spring Meadow Flowers and butterfly perspextives around the fussy cut flowers.

I cut out some of the navy Papersnips from the 001 sheet and added a tab above the photo and one below.

On the raised hexagons I added the different swallows from the collection. This gave more dimension to the layout.

Finally I added some paint splatters around the layout using the distress oxides.
