Big rosette - 12x12 Layout - Stephanie Louise
My photo was my starting point which I used a compass to draw a 10cm circle. I added a yellow piece of patterned paper behind it and put it to one side whilst I worked on my background.
I'm using Shimelles latest collection for American crafts called Main Character Energy which I felt had the right celebration vibe and coordinated with the Bramble Fox Perspextives perfectly.
I trimmed down some textured cardstock to
11 1/2" and distressed the edges. I created some divots on two of the sides which I attached some contrasting paper to. I then gutted a piece of patterned paper leaving a 1" boarder and stuck my cardstock to it.
Using my compass again I drew a 20cm circle and using Tim Holtz distress ink made a big yellow circle and stuck my photo in the centre of it on foam pads and out of the collection I had cut twenty strips of 4"x 1" I stuck the ends together to make twenty little tabs which I attached round my photo to create a rosette. I attached The Extra Ordinary perspextive and some coordinating perspextive Arrows pointing to my Dad. https://www.bramblefox.co.uk/product-page/arrows-galore
I then started work on my journaling area. I made a 5"x 3" journaling card from some patterned paper using a boarder punch along the bottom and using the It's the little things perspextive to make what I thought looked like a clip board. I attached it using some foam pads stuck my journaling to it. I added some ephemera around it and some bright pink ribbon to the perspextive.
I then added some stickers round the rosette and to the top right and bottom left corners of my layout to complete my page.
