Better Together | Julie Taylor

Hello Foxy friends.

I'm using the beautiful June Fox Box Plus today for my layout & choose the gorgeous Better Together piece, in a lovely dark pink, as my title.

I started this page by die cutting lots of flowers & leaves, out of watercolour paper. This allowed me to add some colour to them by smooshing my oxide inks onto a messy may, spraying with water & dipping the die cuts in to the ink. You can add more ink to get deeper tones & variations of colour on your flowers & leaves.

I built up my 2 photo clusters, adding them more or less centrally & layered up my die cuts top right & bottom left, tucking them in & adding some foam pads for dimension. I fussy cut a couple of the flowers off the Paper Snips #27 adding those to each cluster.

The stencil, that comes with the Fox Box Plus has these lovely butterfly trails which I choose to stitch at the top & bottom of my page adding a fussy cut butterfly off the Paper Snips sheet at the end of each trail.

I finished my page with the title piece, heart with us inside, a few perspextive leaves & a few sparkly gems dotted around the page.

I love how pretty this page turned out & this perspextive title was just perfect for my photos.
