Beautiful Memories
Hello foxy Friends!
It's autumn, slowly you start seeing the amazing colors outside.
So for me it's time for a Fall layout.
I started applying "clear" gesso on my background and let it dry. After that I used a stencil and distress Oxide (colors, 'Walnut stain and Rusty Hinge) for the background.
When it is dry I make some more splashes with the distress oxide and used a brush.
Now it's time to cut the photo to size together with the design paper. I distress the edges of the design paper with a distress paper tool to give more dimension to my work.
After that I punched out several leaves with the bigshot (you can also use your cutting machine) and colored them with 3 kinds of ink sprays. I chose the colors, brown/mustard, pink and lime.
I also punched leaves from vellum and stitched them with golden thread to the colored leaves. This gives a beautiful 3D effect.
Now it's time to put the photo, the design paper and the leaves on the layout.
I used the great forest perspectives with the golden leaves, pink twig and the golden perspextives word "Beautiful".
At the top of this page I used a metal dies from the bramble Fox dies set #3. It looks like a strip of a notepad. I love it!
I started decorating the layout with die-cuts from crate paper collection "Herritage".
Under the perspextives word "Beautiful" I used the word Memories. This one comes from the beautiful stamp set Fox Stamps #1
I cut out the stamp and sew it with golden thread on a piece of design paper.
When I finish decorating I make some more splashes with white acrylic ink. I think that gives a very nice effect on the colored leaves. My layout is finished now!
I hope I was able to inspire you with my autumn layout and I am very curious to see your beautiful layouts on the Facebook group!
Have a beautiful day!
XoXo,
Josefine
